While we cannot express the beauty of Heaven in mere human words, we have some truths about it that should motivate us to serve God faithfully. Heaven will be like a walled city; the street of the city will be pure gold, like transparent glass (Revelation 21:21). It will have all that we need and safeguard us from all the harm plaguing our lives in this earthly existence. Sickness and sin will not be allowed to enter Heaven because God will be there (Revelation 21:26-27).
Therefore, it will be a place of eternal joy, a joy that cannot be taken away from us. Are you a born-again child of God? If not, you do not have an inheritance in Heaven. Why not start laying your treasures in Heaven today by obeying the word of God (Matthew 6:19-21)? You can someday also be "caught up" like Paul and experience such a spectacular place that no earthly tongue can rightly speak of and describe.
The glories of Heaven are inexpressible, and its beauty is beyond our imagination. Heaven is real, and any believer in Christ Jesus on this earth who misses enjoying the beauty of Heaven would cry bitterly because no sane mortal could bear the agony of the pain in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:10-21:8).
My dear friend, do you wish to reign with Christ in His Kingdom? Remember, the end of all things is at hand; be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer (1 Peter 4:7).
What shall it profit a man to gain this whole world and lose his soul? Mark 8:36. Your soul is vital to God. Please, ensure you keep it away from pollution and any form of compromise that could make you miss Heaven.
Today is the day of salvation.
Tomorrow may be too late.
