Open Heaven For Teens 2 July 2022: Trust In God

TOPIC: Trust In God [Open Heaven for Teens 2 July 2022]

MEMORISE: Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him, and he shall bring it to pass. Psalms 37:5

READ: Proverbs 3:5-8

  1. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding.
  2. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
  3. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
  4. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

MESSAGE:

It is important to know that God has a plan for your life. He said in Jeremiah 1:5:

“Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee…”

This shows that God’s plan for you is very personal. It may not be revealed to you at once but it's very detailed with everything worked out step by step. For His plans to become actualized in you, it is vital that you trust in Him. When people plan their life, they calculate based on the resources available to them but when things don’t go as planned, they go into depression. Someone once said that growing into God’s perfect plan without necessarily understanding the process is great faith. This is why your absolute dependence must be on God because life is not a bed of roses, it is an uncertain place that requires the wisdom of God.

God’s will for you is always good and perfect and because He alone knows the future, He will guide you into the best career, spiritual, academic, and marital path, in Jesus' name.

KEY POINT:

Trust in the Lord with all your heart.
